Biaung Beach is a marine tourism destination located in Kesiman Kertalangu Village, East Denpasar District. It holds great potential for the development of community-based tourism, which can serve as a solution to maintain a balance between economic growth and the preservation of culture and the environment. Management strategies for Biaung Beach should be optimally implemented to ensure effective governance that aligns with its inherent potential. This research is crucial as Biaung Beach represents a highly attractive destination for marine tourism development, given its geographical conditions that offer a serene coastal panorama. This study utilizes a qualitative descriptive method, applying tourism destination theory and the POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling) theory. The data type used in this research is qualitative. Data were gathered through interview guides, and informants were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The results demonstrate that Biaung Beach possesses viable potential for development. Perception assessments are dominated by positive responses across socio-cultural, environmental, and governmental aspects, as well as the components of attraction, activities, and ancillary services. However, areas requiring special attention include tourism management, ranging from the provision of accommodation and tourist activities to waste and sewage management. The management strategy for Biaung Beach involves improving aspects designated as needing enhancement; this includes increasing tourist arrivals by organizing engaging events, such as kite festivals or surfing competitions.
