Keunikan Soul Healing Ubud Sebagai Atraksi Wisata Spiritual Di Desa Batubulan, Kecamatan Sukawati, Kabupaten Gianyar

The growth of spiritual tourism in Bali has encouraged the development of various holistic healing attractions that combine local cultural traditions with contemporary wellness practices. This study aims to analyze the potential of Soul Healing Ubud as a spiritual tourism attraction, identify the tourism products offered, and examine its uniqueness in attracting visitors. A descriptive qualitative method with a phenomenological approach was employed in this research. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, documentation studies, and literature reviews involving the owner, healers, tourists, and local tourism stakeholders selected through purposive sampling. The findings reveal that Soul Healing Ubud possesses significant potential as a spiritual tourism attraction through the integration of natural landscapes, including rice fields and the Campuhan River, authentic Balinese Usada healing traditions, and structured healing programs supported by premium facilities. The tourism products consist of spiritual healing services such as purification rituals, palm reading, aura activation, chakra balancing, and trauma healing, complemented by digital accessibility through social media and online booking platforms. Furthermore, the uniqueness of Soul Healing Ubud lies in its hybrid authenticity, which combines traditional Balinese spiritual rituals with modern wellness approaches, creating transformative, emotional, and personalized experiences for visitors. The study concludes that Soul Healing Ubud has strong competitiveness within Bali’s spiritual tourism sector and contributes to the preservation of local culture while meeting the evolving wellness needs of contemporary travelers.
