Abstract

The management of Poh Gading Waterfall, a natural tourism destination in Kemenuh Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency, is covered in this study. Built by Pengempon Pura Beji Arya Wang Bang Pinatih, Poh Gading Waterfall is an artificial waterfall that may draw up to 300 people during the holidays after going viral on social media. However, there are still issues with infrastructure and governance that its administration must deal with. This study aims to analyze tourism potential based on the 6A component, the implementation of the management function (POACM), as well as the economic, socio-cultural, and environmental impacts. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach by collecting data through observation, interviews, literature studies, and documentation. Informants were determined using purposive sampling and accidental sampling. According to the study's findings, the majority of the 6A components have been supplied, particularly the main river, the Beji Temple region, and the artificial waterfalls that serve as attractions. However, accessibility and supporting facilities still require improvement. From a managerial perspective, the organizing, controlling, and motivations have not been at their best, but the planning and actuating functions have been operating. Despite the possibility of land conversion, this tourism management has an economic benefit by boosting employment and village income, a sociocultural impact by supporting temple care, and an environmental impact by improving river cleanliness. All things considered, Poh Gading Waterfall has a lot of potential to be developed as a natural tourism destination by raising the standard of infrastructure, management, and government collaboration.
