Pengelolaan Usaha Arung Jeram Bali Bintang Rafting Sebagai Daya Tarik Wisata Minat Khusus Di Desa Kedewatan Kecamatan Ubud Kabupaten Gianyar

Abstract

This study discussed the management of Bali Bintang Rafting as a special interest tourism attraction in Kedewatan Village, Ubud District, Gianyar Regency. The study was motivated by the development of nature-based special interest tourism that required professional management to maintain service quality, tourist safety, and environmental sustainability. The purpose of this study was to identify the tourism potential, the business management system, and the implications of the rafting business for the local community. The research method used was qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The research informants consisted of managers, staff, tourists, and local communities around the tourism area. The results of the study showed that Bali Bintang Rafting had natural, cultural, religious, and economic potential that supported the development of special interest tourism based on adventure tourism. Business management was carried out through operational planning, task division, professional staff placement, coordination, supervision, and employee motivation. The existence of this business provided positive implications for environmental preservation, community economic improvement, strengthening of socio-cultural values, and increasing the religiosity of staff and tourists. Management based on local wisdom and sustainability made Bali Bintang Rafting one of the special interest tourism businesses that was able to support the sustainable development of tourism in Kedewatan Village.
